 2 p.m. – Victoria Park, Ingersoll (57 km/400 m)

Limber up your legs for Sunday’s race with a FREE scenic ride highlighting the very best that Oxford County has to offer: quiet gravel roads that roll up and down through wide-open farmland, a few winding trails and a bit of tree-lined gravel too!

We’ll aim to divide into three groups of 15 based on preferred pace: Social (20-24 km/h average); Tempo (23-26 km/h); and Spirited (27 km/h+).  A mid-ride break at Kintore Coffee in the village of Embro is included, compliments of Tourism Oxford. We’ll also have a support vehicle circulating throughout the ride, just in case!

Description

Wide Open Gravel for the Taking

Is the sky bigger in Oxford County? It sure seems that way. Many of our gravel rides here roll across sprawling pastoral farmland, where the road ribbons ahead of you for miles, while long stands of trees help buffer the wind.

On this warm-up ride for the Paris 2 Ancaster race, we'll follow a 57 km route that hits all the highlights. It's just the kind of ride you need to wake up your legs after a long drive to get here, or to ready them for the challenge you'll face on Sunday.

Our guides will keep you on track and on pace, so no one wears out.

For Non-Cyclists

While you're riding, your partner has plenty of options.

How about exploring the variety of renowned cheese makers for which Oxford County is famous?

Enjoy the food and curio shops on Ingersoll's main street.

Or indulge in a spa treatment at the historic Elm Hurst Inn & Spa. (Better book that right now!)

Please Note: Gravelocity’s tours run rain or shine. That said, we reserve the right to alter routes, distances or start times to avoid the worst of what Mother Nature (or the local gravel graders) may throw at us.
